Prolaborate is a separate product from Enterprise Architect. It is the hosted collaboration layer over an EA repository: reviews, dashboards, relationship matrices, impact analysis and access control. It does not author models.
The four Prolaborate skills drive Prolaborate's web interface through a browser. They need browser control (a built-in browser or Chrome) and a Prolaborate session in which you are already signed in. Computer use can see a browser but cannot click in one, so it is not a substitute. They need no MCP server and no running copy of EA, so none of the server's tools or operations are involved. The AI never signs in for you, never enters credentials, and never copies a session token out of the page.
| You want | Skill |
|---|---|
| To start any Prolaborate session: check the sign-in, identity, version and repositories, then route | prol-start-here |
| To build, read or change a dashboard and its widgets | prol-dashboards |
| To read, filter, share or export a relationship matrix | prol-matrix |
| To trace what depends on an element, or to build an Analyzer view | prol-impact-analysis |
| To create elements, author a technology, compose diagrams, validate or baseline | Not Prolaborate. Use ea-start-here |
| Reviews, or administration (users, groups, permissions, repository configuration) | Declined. The AI says so and stops |
When a request spans both products ("review what changed, then fix the model"), the AI does the Prolaborate half with these skills and hands the authoring half to the EA skills. The two products reach the same repository through different paths, and one flow should not mix them.
Every Prolaborate skill was verified against Prolaborate 5.6.1.40, driven as a Super Admin. A Super Admin short-circuits authorization checks.
