Getting started and support
In this section
| Page | What it covers | Code | Cowork | Desktop chat | VS Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ea-start-here | Start every Sparx EA session safely: confirm the server, the open model and the modeling technologies that are really loaded. | Yes | Yes | With you | With you |
| ea-diagnostic | Turn a failure into a structured report a support engineer can act on without reproducing your session. | Yes | Yes | With you | With you |
| ea-help | Find Sparx's own written procedure for an EA task no other skill covers, for your exact EA version, and carry it out. | Yes | Yes | With you | With you |
| ea-com | Script Enterprise Architect through its automation interface when no operation fits: bulk reads and ad hoc reports, scripted changes, technology checks and EA's lifecycle. | Yes | No | No | With you |
Where it runs: Yes = runs fully · With you = runs, and you do the steps in EA’s window · Partly = one part needs a capability the client lacks · No = not available · TBC = to be confirmed
These four skills do not build anything. ea-start-here makes sure the session is pointed at the right model and routes the request. ea-diagnostic writes up a problem for support. ea-help and ea-com cover work the operations do not reach: ea-help by following Sparx's own documentation in EA's user interface, and ea-com by scripting EA directly.
